Done!

I just finished my final draft of my final term paper for my Masters! Yaaay! It is a strange feeling to know that my time here in St. John's is nearing an end. So much has changed over the past two years. When I look back I know that more than anything else I have changed.

I came here hoping to learn to be a more critical thinker and a better writer. I believe I have accomplished that. Whether this will lead me to an academic career remains to be seen. I have been accepted by one university, rejected by another and still waiting on the third. Meanwhile I do not know if I will actually get the funding I will need to pursue a PhD.

I have applied for two positions with CUSO. One is in Jamaica and the other in the Solomon Islands. I have also been exploring working in Japan with a company called the Nova Group.

So I have lots of options. Meanwhile I plan to kick back for a few weeks and then get started on my documentary film and of course my cabin.
